M.Sc. This program provides the basis for the Post-Graduation Program in Nursing. Further the program encourages the accountability and commitment to lifelong learning which fosters improvement of quality care.

Post Graduate Profession is essential to prepare nurses to improve the quality in Nursing Education. This program in nursing builds upon and extents competency acquired at graduate level, emphasizes application of relevant theory into Nursing Practice, Education, Administrative Development of Research skill.

ELIGIBILITY AGE LIMIT

There is NO age limit for admission to M.Sc. Nursing course.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION & ELIGIBILITY OF MARKS

The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any (Concerned) State Nursing Registration Council.
The Minimum education requirements are: B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with Minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
The candidate should have undergone training in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

FEES

Fees will be decided by government authority or fees regulatory committee of government.

SEATS

The annual intake of students in our College is 14 seats per year OR as per government norms. 5 Seats for Medical Surgical Nursing, 5 Seats for Gynae. & Obes., 2 Seats for Community Health Nursing and 2 seats for Pediatric Nursing, out of which 50% will be filled by RUHS & 50% will be filled by federation.

DURATION

The duration of M.Sc. Nursing course is 2 Years.
