About Soni Group-Through Ages

The company was incorporated in the name of Soni Hospital Private Limited on 2nd August, 1988 with the Registrar of Companies, Rajasthan, Jaipur. On March 30th, 1995 the name of the company was changed to Soni Medicare Private Limited. It was later converted into a public limited company with a special resolution passed in the Extraordinary General Meeting on 03.04.1995 and a fresh certificate of incorporation was obtained on the 17th of April, 1995. Consequently, the name of the company was changed to Soni Medicare Limited.Soni Hospital – A unit of Soni Medicare Ltd. was started as a 20-bedded Hospital in 1988 and was founded by Dr. B. R. Soni and inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri Hari Dev Joshi, Chief Minister, Rajasthan (1973 – 1977). In 1989 Soni Hospital became a 40 bedded hospital, then expanded to 80 beds. Finally in the year 1996 it got a status of a 100 bed Corporate Multi-specialty Hospital with prime and central location opp. Moti Doongri Ganesh Temple on main JLN Marg.

Soni Hospital got converted to a fully air conditioned hospital in year 2014. It got the prestigious NABH accreditation in year 2015. In year 2017 the accreditation got renewed with upgraded edition after clearing 105 standards and 683 objectives. In year 2017, a new wing of Soni Hospital got inaugurated with the name of ‘Balaji Soni Hospital’ at Bagru, Jaipur to serve rural people in nearby villages. This hospital was launched with over 100 beds and more than 10 specialties and counting. In the same campus, Skill Oriented National Institute (S.O.N.I.) was also established to conduct skill oriented training program to help today’s youth get employable. This year, Soni Hospital at JLN Marg got completely revamped with state of the art infrastructure to launch a new modern women’s health & well-being centre for mother & child by the name ‘JOY’. Maternity experience got richer with world class concept and services.

1986 Soni Hospital started as a 20 beds nursing home
1987 Soni Hospital lab has got first auto-analyzer in Rajasthan for high quality laboratory testing.
1988 Soni hospital expanded to a 40 beds multi-specialty Hospital with 5 Ex-HOD’s at its helm.
1988 First Lithotripsy Machine in Rajasthan
1989 First IOL Implant cataract operation in Rajasthan
1990 Soni Hospital expanded to 100 beds
1992 First Hospital with CT scan in Rajasthan

2000 Soni Hospital is ISO:9001 certified, 1st Hospital in Rajasthan to do so. The ISO Certification is cancelled in 2008-2009 when Soni Hospitals applies for NABH
2003 May Soni Hospitals Pvt. Ltd. acquired vacant plot in Vidyadhar Nagar for construction of S. K. Soni Hospital
2004 September Soni Nursing School started with 60 seat G.N.M. Diploma course approved by Indian Nursing Council
2004 October S. K. Soni Hospital got fully functional with OPD and IPD patient services with 150 beds

2011 November S. K. Soni Hospital became 2nd Hospital in Rajasthan to get the prestigious NABH certification. S. K. Soni Hospital is also the largest NABH hospital in the state and has the largest scope of available services.
2012 Soni Nursing School shifted to S. K. Soni Hospital Campus and merged with Soni Nursing College
2012 S. K. Soni Hospital got the prestigious NABL certification. S. K. Soni Hospital is now the largest hospital in the state with both NABH and NABL.
2012 June Soni Hospitals Pvt Ltd. started Soni Hospitals CT & MRI Centre (an investment of INR 360 million) in PPP with Rajasthan Govt. 400 – 500 Patients visit everyday for both CT & MRI
2012 June Soni Hospitals CT & MRI Centre installed & operated Rajasthan’s first 3 Tesla Digital MRI in Rajasthan and best 128 slice Cardiac CT.
2012 July Soni Hospitals CT & MRI Centre attempted to register a World Record with ‘Limca Book of Records’ for maximum number of CT Scans done on a single machine in a day. This record was attempted on 29th June 2012 for 239 CTs
2012 September Soni Nursing College is recognized by Indian Nursing Council for 30 seats in P.B. B. Sc. Nursing and for 14 seats in M.Sc. Nursing
2015 Soni Hospital became the 3rd oldest hospital to get NABH accreditation
2014 February S. K. Soni Hospital merged with Manipal Hospitals – biggest chain of hospitals in India. Presently the Hospital and Building is being operated as Soni Manipal Hospital (280 Beds) & managed by Manipal Group (Since 17th Feb-2014)
2014 May Soni Hospital is converted to a fully air-conditioned hospital
2014 September Construction work started for first rural hospital of Soni Group at Bagru
2015 March Established Soni Paramedical Institute at Vidhyadhar Nagar. The para-medical institute has 125 seats with 25 seats each for: Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiation Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Emergency Medical Technician & ECG Technology.
2015 November Soni Nursing College shifted to a State of art Building in RIICO Industrial Area, Bagru Phase 2 Extn. with all the facilities from hostel, entertainment, games, library etc
2017 March New S. K. Soni Blood Bank campus established at Unit-III, Manipal Hospital, Jaipur campus adjacent to Soni Paramedical Institute. The blood bank has modern equipment like aphaeresis, 4th generation ELISA and high-quality blood processing
2017 May Balaji Soni Hospital established a 100 bedded Rural Hospital, at RIICO, Bagru
2017 July 21 Establishment of Dialysis centers at Jhunjhunu

2017 September Established Skill Oriented National Institute (S.O.N.I), in collaboration with Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC) to start train 300 General Duty Assistants .Soni Group is the now largest provider of para-medical education training across Rajasthan with 500+ students in concurrent training

2017 December Soni Hospital started Urban Primary Health Centre (PHC) under PPP mode with Govt. of Rajasthan. Approx 70-100 patients are seen daily per PHC for free with medication.
2018 January Balaji Soni Hospital outreach clinic- Bagru City Clinic started in Bagru city opposite bus stand.
2018 February Established of Dialysis centers at Bhilwara. Largest dialysis center in district hospital across Rajasthan. Second Urban PHC started under PPP mode at Khatipura.
2018 May Soni Hospital revamped as modern women health & well-being center with a team of renowned doctors. The hospital is undergoing its most ambitious re-design in 30 years.

  • Leaders in Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery: We are the only center in the state which performs Roto-Blator technique.
