The department of cardiology represents State-of the-Art Cardiac care facility with specialization in both invasive and non-invasive sections. The cardiac team comprises of global specialists who have refined their skills in the best of the centers in the world. The facility is equipped with Ultra-Modern Siemens Flat Panel Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory where routine and complex coronary angioplasties and stenting are regularly performed with success. Using specialized equipment like Rotational Atherectomy for coronary arteries. Thanks to hospital’s affiliation with Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Co-Director Dr. Samin Sharma in Manhattan, New York, USA. Technologically advanced and updated protocols for patient care are rigorously being followed for providing the best possible patient care.

The facility has fully equipped CCU “HEART COMMAND” with Ultra-modern Monitoring Equipment, Balloon Floatation Catheters, Telemetry and a dedicated primary Angioplasty Service, for better pre and post procedure care. Most importantly a dedicated team of highly skilled doctors and trained paramedical staff is available round the clock for the best patient care.

INVASIVE-NON CORONARY

·         Closure of congenital cardiac defects like Atrial septal Defect (ASD) and patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) percutaneously with device without the need of operation.

·         Single and Dual Chamber Permanent Pacemaker Implantation.

·         Balloon Mitral, Aortic, Pulmonary and Tricuspid Valvuloplasty

·         Iliac, Femoral, Popliteal, Infra-Popliteal, Renal and Subclavian Angioplasty and Stenting.

During the last 5 years, we have done over 15,000 Angiographies and 2500 Angioplasties.

Cardiology Unit-1

Dr. Nikhil Parikh

He has done his DM (Cardio) in 1993 and worked as the consultant interventional cardiologist in SDM Hospital, Jaipur since 1994 to 2008. He has joined as chef coordinator & interventional cardiologist in the department in Dec 2008.

Dr. Sanjeev Sharma

 He has done his DM (Card) from AIIMS, New Delhi in 2005. He has worked in various hospitals like Escorts Hospital, New Delhi, SMS Hospital, Jaipur, SGPGIMS, Lucknow, AIIMS, New Delhi and Tongia hospital Jaipur. He has joined as the interventional cardiologist in the department in Dec 2008.

Dr. Milind Shrivastav

He has done his MD (Med) from JLN Medical College, Ajmer in 1988 and DNB (Cardio) from SDM Hospital, Jaipur in 2008. He has joined as the interventional cardiologist in the department in Dec 2008.

Cardiology Unit-2

Dr. R.K Madhok

Senior most cardiologist of Rajasthan, Dr. Madhok retired as HOD (Cardiology) from SMS Hospital. Currently, he is the Director and HOD of Soni Group of Hospital since 2008. He has completed his DM in cardiology from AIIMS, New Delhi in 1983. He has been a PG teacher, renowned academician and has numerous publications to his credit. He has been invited as a guest speaker at various national & international conferences, workshop and CME.
