Game Changers

In short, within a span of 3 years we have achieved all of our stipulated objectives and much more. These are our achievements today:

• Leaders in ICU Care: We implement the highest & latest Critical care Standards and maximum number of ICU beds with lowest infection rates
• Leaders in Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery: We were the  1^st and only center in the state which performs Roto-Blator technique
• Leaders in Neurosciences: With Dr. S. R. Dharkar at our helm, we have the best Neurosurgery unit with 1^st Modular Neuro Suite
• Leaders in Oncology: With our existing infra-structure, daycare ward and Primus Dual Energy Linear Accelerator & HDR Brachytherapy, we have most advanced cancer center in the state
• Leaders in Nephrology: We are doing over 200 cases a month and have advanced techniques such as CRRT
• Leaders in Joint Replacement: We have performed the maximum number of Joint replacement surgeries in the state. We did the 1^st ACL, the 1^st bi-lateral joint replacement & the 1^st THR+TKR in a single sitting.
• Amongst top in Gastroenterology and GI Surgery: We are doing most procedures laproscopically including advanced bariatic surgery for obese patients
• Experts in Trauma: We are regularly admitting Trauma cases and have a Trauma-care team also.

Pathology Diagnostics – over 800,000 tests.

Radiology Diagnostics – over 100,000 studies done.

Blood Bank – over 25000 Blood units processed.

Cardiology –  Over 10,000 Angiographies, over 1500 Angioplasties , over 1500 Heart Bypass surgeries, over 5000 non-invasive procedures.

Nephrology –  Over 10,000 dialysis patients served.

Urology –  Over 750 procedures

Oncology – Over 5000 cancer patients treated, over 5000 radiotherapy cases, over 500 cancer surgeries. Over 1000 cancer patients have been treated free of charge including drugs in the institute

Gastro sciences – over 5000 invasive procedures

ICU cases – Over 35,000 ICU bed days of ICU services have been provided

Average Length of Stay – Very short and overall stay on an average about 3.96 days per admission

Longest Stay – Shri Vineet Malpani stayed with us for over 240 days

A Trip Down Memory Lane

·         2003 May: Soni Hospitals Pvt. Ltd. acquires vacant plot in Vidyadhar Nagar for construction of SK Soni Hospital

·         2004 October: SK Soni Hospital is fully functional with OPD and IPD patient services with 150 beds

o        Free dietician approved meal for patients at bedside

o        24 Hour: Fully automatic Biochemistry Lab, Radiology with CT-Scan/X-ray, Sonography, Pharmacy, Casualty and Mortuary

·         2004 November: Cardiac CathLab started with 6^th Generation latest Flat Panel. Cardiology and Cardio-throracic Surgery departments are established

·         2004 December: Dialysis center started

·         2005 January: 24 Hour Blood Bank with components started

·         2005 August: First private hospital in Rajasthan to be approved for Medico Legal Cases (MLCs)

·         2005 August: Gastroenterology department starts

·         2005 September: Microbiology Lab started

·         2006 May: Neurosciences center established with a dedicated NeuroICU

·         2006 June: Sleep Lab started, first in Jaipur

·         2006 September: First Cerebral Angiography and establishment of Interventional Radiology department and had 1st Interventional Radiologist in Rajasthan

·         2006 December: Dept. of Joint Replacement started with Joint Replacement Surgeon, performed 1^st Bi-lateral joint replacement in Rajasthan

·         2007 January: Finest critical care ambulance

·         2007 January: Foundation of Searoc Cancer center

·         2007 June: Genesis Fertility Center starts

·         2007 August: Aphaeresis Machine is operational

·         2007 October: Corneal Transplant is approved

·         2007 October: CRRT facility available

·         2008 January: Linear Accelator started

·         2008 January: SK Soni Hospital now has 225 beds and a new super specialty wing

·         2008 January: RG Stone Urology Center started

·         2008 February: 1.5 Tesla MRI with CRS and MSF Flow studies

·         2008 February: ISO 9001:2000 Certification

·         2008 March: Started Heart Command Center, Isolation & Burn ICU started

·         2008 December: Mega Cardiology Expansion with 4 faculty and expansion of department

·         2009 January: SK Soni Hospital ICU is certified by ISCCM as ISCMM Level-III ICU and training of doctors in intensive care starts

·         2009 January: Chemi luminance Machine starts, SK Soni Hospital is now the 2^nd lab in Rajasthan to have this machine

·         2009 March: SEAROC cancer center expands to SMS Medical College with newest Linear Accelerator with IMRT, IGRT & SRS/SRT

·         2009 July: SK Soni Hospital lab gets a new Siemens auto-analyzer and is revamped, NABL certification process begins
